The latest release from Joey Jax is “Hello, World!” a personal selection of 12 of his earlier tracks chosen to tell an upbeat origin story. Many of the tracks lean into melodic territory, exploring pads, ambiences, textures, and dance, which reflect Joey Jax’s positive feelings towards programming music with both analog and digital technology.

Joey Jax’s debut album, ‘Hello, World!’, is an electrifying journey through the pulse of contemporary electronic
music, paying tribute to the beats of the ‘90s and ‘00s while pushing into bold, futuristic territory. Drawing
inspiration from legends like Daft Punk, The Chemical Brothers, and Green Velvet, Joey Jax blends nostalgia with
innovation and forms a sound that’s both familiar and groundbreaking. The album introduces the enigmatic purple
robot J4X B07 – a futuristic figure symbolizing the cutting-edge electronics woven throughout the music of the
album. With these debut 12 tracks, Joey Jax sets out to ignite the imagination of a new generation of electronic music fans, defined by high-energy rhythms and a forward-thinking brand identity.

With a strong presence in the electronic music scene and deep roots in the community, Joey Jax has already
become a familiar name to fans of underground dance music. The Jax Trax label founder has built a reputation for
delivering fresh, cutting-edge music that is on the upsurge. His most recent project, ‘The Whole Sound (Remixes
in Rotation)’, features an eclectic collection of standout remixes from top-tier artists like KVDEN, VAZTEK, and BLiCKA, a great precursor to the upcoming ‘Trickin’ on Us’ remix compilation.

Joey Jax has grabbed attention by placing second in a Daft Punk remix competition with his smooth, mellow
rework of ‘Voyager’, outshining many in an anonymous global contest. His work has also landed him on stages
alongside heavyweights like Wax Motif, Matroda, Sacha Robotti, and Steve Darko and at notable festivals like
Dirtybird Campout, CampINN, and Escape Reality. Beyond the studio and the stage, Joey Jax is deeply
connected to the Twitch DJ community, where he interacts with fans and fellow artists and occasionally streams
his live sets. With bold creativity, relentless drive, and a passion for pushing electronic music forward, Joey Jax is an increasingly promising name you won’t want to miss. Stay tuned using the links below.

Underground Dance Music

Were you connected with music from a young age and did anyone inspire you?

Yes, my inspiration came from all the sounds around me, from my parents’ records to the chiptune sounds of retro video games.

A late-night studio session with friends ignited my passion and pushed me to start producing my own music.

Tell us more about your sound and how it’s evolved over time
