Polaris Festival continues to draw attention to the wide range and variety of electronic music genres, uniting influential figures, pioneers of electronic music, as well as new and exciting talents from around the world. Having been held annually since 2015, the event gathers together the musical legacies of Detroit, Manchester, Paris and Berlin and meets the house and disco rhythms of Ibiza and the global club scene.

Set in the Swiss alpine resort of Verbier in the canton of Valais, Polaris is located at 2200 meters above sea level and has hosted such luminaries as Laurent Garnier, Richie Hawtin, Luciano, Seth Troxler, Carl Craig, Larry Heard, Sven Väth, Moodymann and Nina Kravitz. Preparing for its eleventh year, Polaris will be held for the first time in 2026 on 20 and 21 November and 27 and 28 November, uniting four festival nights, exploring different musical eras and trends in electronic music.

On Friday, November 20, global brand Glitterbox will make its Swiss debut. The brainchild of Defected Records founder Simon Dunmore, this multi-venue brand was launched in Ibiza in 2014 and enjoys international recognition for its spectacular parties dedicated to house music, disco, and popular culture, fusing music with dance and entertainment.

For its debut at Polaris, Glitterbox will feature Armand Van Helden, Horse Meat Disco and Jayda G, with additional support from Kirollus, Lloyd Nwagboso and Yasmin. The stars of the Glitterbox franchise will provide a fabulous overview of the sounds, styles and spectacular show that have made this brand famous all over the world.

On Saturday, November 21, Polaris will honor the legacy of house and techno music and pay tribute to the talents who were at the forefront of the development of several major musical styles.

Among the highlights of the night will be the first-ever performance in Switzerland by the legendary Mad Mike Banks and A Guy Called Gerald. In addition, Mike Banks will also be joined by Carl Craig on stage, continuing the tradition of Polaris , which unites the musical legacies of electronic music pioneers. In particular, Craig and Carl will be able to enjoy a joint performance on the opening night of the festival, as they played together at the first Polaris in 2015. The highlight of the night will also be a performance by Moodymann, who will play a back-to-back set with Carl Craig. The line-up will also include DJ Deep and St Germain, as well as Khadija, Flo Real, Move D and Prosumer, who will also play a joint set. All of them will demonstrate what connections exist between Detroit, Manchester and Paris in the history of house and techno music.

The second weekend of the festival will open on Friday, November 27, also dedicated to Berlin and designed to showcase the capital’s club culture and musical innovation to a Swiss audience. In particular, Dixon, founder of the renowned label Innervisions, will be joined by Swiss DJ and producer Jimi Jules for a back-to-back set. Reznik will represent Keinemusik, an imprint from Berlin that has acquired international acclaim for its unique take on modern techno. The stars of the night will also include Meera, Juli Lee and Laolu, who will perform individually. The wide range of performers will demonstrate the strong ties between the electronic music scene in Switzerland and Berlin.

On Saturday, November 28, the festival will explore yet another page in the history of electronic music, focusing on the development of techno and uniting performers of different generations. In particular, techno innovator Chris Liebing will share the stage with Deetron and Charlotte de Witte, uniting the sounds of techno with current club rhythms. This year’s closing night will also see the return of UFO95, who will deliver a memorable performance, while Inox Traxx will provide a spectacular finale for the festivalgoers, thus completing the four–day party, during which electronic music lovers will enjoy a journey through time and space.

Polaris will return to the multi-event Espace Saint-Marc venue in the resort of Verbier this year, which hosted the festival for the first time in 2025. It has a 1800-person Main Stage capacity, which will provide the key festival performances with the perfect setting. In addition to the main festival, Polaris will also have OFF events this year, which will complement the four-day music offering with additional activities in other venues in Verbier throughout the two weekends. As in previous years, the OFF events will include daytime parties as well as an evening program, with a film event also being unveiled this year for the first time.

Having celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2025, Polaris Festival is gearing up for a busy 2026 season, offering a comprehensive overview of the rich history of electronic music and the latest trends in the industry. Once again, the event will bring together major figures, as well as rising stars and different musical eras, demonstrating the close ties between the clubbing worlds of Europe and beyond.
