- Space Food, Kinky Sound – Avalon (Original Mix) – Ritual
It’s been around a while, but the sound is very representative of what we are loving at the moment. Driving, dramatic, eighties leaning, Miami Vice, indie dance vibes with some mind-bending synths. Always causes damage when we play it.
2. Der Dritte Raum – Hale Bopp (Maceo Plex Edit) – Harthouse
We have loved this one since Sasha’s Global Underground in San Francisco CD2 took us there. Still sounds as fresh today, with Maceo Plex adding some extra oomph on the remix. The melody is unique and creates mystery and drives the track effortlessly.
3. Rafael Cerato – Agapo – DIYNAMIC.
We discovered this unreleased track on the dancefloor at Solomun+1 in Ibiza in 2025; the memorable chords and riff stuck with us many hours later. Always lifts the dancefloor. It took the roof off in Val d’Isère recently.
4. Shadow Dancer – Parallax – Boysnoize
Amazing end of the night track. Indie melodic disco tinged vibes. It has a really cool extended intro which helps you to build the tension before unleashing the bass.
5. Rufus De Sol – Devotion (Luke Alessi) – Rose Avenue
This is a Luke Alessi masterclass in remixing, and his version complements the original beautifully – this has edge and drive but also an ethereal beauty which raises the hairs on the back of your neck. This is the track that has people asking for the ID every time we play it.
6. Guy Gerber – What To Do (&ME remix) – Rumors
For those deeper, more introspective moments on the dancefloor. Beautiful track by a great producer. We last played it in Miami; it’s one of those tracks that you get an approving look from those who know it.
7. Ry & Frank Wiedemann – Howling (Ame remix) – Innervisions
Designed for sunrise at Burning Man. This is a stunning production. The driving bass pads underpin intelligent and infectious melodies, and the vocal sticks with you forever – we remember it well from our times on the Playa.
8. Human Machine – The Mule – Exit Strategy
This creates real energy on the dancefloor and is centered around a hypnotic synth hook that we absolutely love. Always picks up the energy and locks in the crowd. The main breakdown builds and builds using the melodic elements, and the subtle percussion allows the main elements to breathe. 9 minutes of bliss.
9. Cirez D – On-Off – Mouseville.
Used at the right moment, this is a devastating dancefloor weapon. Massive and instantly recognisable synth hook leads the charge, relentless bass does the rest. Simple but unbelievably effective. The track fits well in the melodic indie-dance style that we really love.
10. Oxia – Domino – Kompact.
Another impact track that everyone knows. Infectious melodies and chord progressions are paired with a driving minimal groove that has stood the test of time. One of those tracks that is instantly recognisable when you mix in the bassline, which has an almost ominous, foreboding, otherworldly beauty that producers can rarely create.
