Bologna‘s Matis Club kicks off 2026 with a diverse lineup, as always: every Friday, the one-night event VidaLoca takes place, with its constantly changing shows and dance music that often borders on pop. Its one-nighters alternate on Saturdays.

Saturday, January 17th: History 1990, 10th Anniversary with Massimo Lippoli, Mauro Ferrucci, Maurizio Monti, Maurizio Gubellini, Billy, Stefano Malaisi, and Danilo Maranini. In the 1990s, Italian nightclubs were a global benchmark, and Matis was already at the forefront of that historic era, so dear to Generation X. On Saturday, January 17th, all this and much more will be brought to life for one night at the Bologna club with a lineup of DJs who made a significant impact during that era.

Saturday, January 24th: Clorophilla with Grossomoddo, Samuele Sartini, Mappa, and Tanja Monies. The first 2026 event is Clorophilla, an evening that transforms the Matis with bespoke sets, performances, and music. In recent years, the French duo Grossomoddo has made a name for themselves with several musical productions, such as “1001 Nuits” and “Andalucia,” the latter co-produced with Hugel. Their sets emphasize Afro House, yet also venture into other genres.

Saturday, January 31st: Why Not.

The Matis Club is designed for an adult audience seeking style, atmosphere, and quality music. The new season is poised to confirm its historic vocation with a diverse program, featuring various themed parties and a lineup of top DJs. The Matis is ready — as before, and more than ever — to write a new chapter in its history, which in recent seasons has seen DJs of the caliber of Bob Sinclar, David Morales, Fatboy Slim, Francis Mercier, and Seth Troxler take turns at the decks.

The Matis Club is open Fridays, Saturdays, and the days before holidays, for dinner — with its Asian Lounge restaurant — and after-dinner drinks.
