Nikka Lorak releases today “Grateful”, her new single on Animarum, presenting a concise statement of her current artistic direction. The track translates recent touring experience across high-intensity club environments into a more controlled and physically driven production approach.

Built around a defined relationship between kick and bass, “Grateful” prioritises structure, repetition and momentum. The arrangement is tighter and more functional, with tension developed through rhythm and controlled pressure rather than extended melodic progression. The result is a track designed to operate with clarity in demanding dancefloor settings.

“My sound has become more defined and more physical. Earlier releases leaned more toward cinematic and melodic depth. Over time, I felt the need for greater impact, stronger low-end presence, and tighter structure. The emotional foundation is still there, but now it is delivered with more force and clarity. The transition feels natural, not abrupt”, comments Nikka.

“Grateful” represents clarity and control. It is confident, energetic, and precise. It reflects who I am now, less interested in softness and more focused on impact.

Released via Animarum, “Grateful” is now available across digital platforms. More information can be found through Instagram @nikkalorak @animarum_recordings and Nikka Lorak’s official channels
